What courses do we offer?
Our cultural context-based courses are centered the art of teaching language through cultural experience, while learning grammar, creative writing, listening, speaking, reading, writing, literature, essay writing and research.
Arabic from beginner to academic / professional

Past courses:
1st – 12th Grade French, and Arabic art and culture immersed learning, context-based Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing. The program run weekly from October to May, with a presentation of Learning.
6 – 8 week course module entitled Roots of Morocco, during school or After-School course.This course was taught at Ecoheal, Chapel Hill, Exploris Elementary School, Raleigh, Emerson Waldorf School, Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
1 – 5 day camp – entitled Moroccan Cultural and Artistic Exploration.
Ladies Cultural Night themed Cuisine et Culture Marocaine and Restorative Movement.
Tutoring sessions from academic to conversational, peer review of academic texts are by appointment.
Course Description: You will learn about arts, cultures and languages from the Arab world with introductory speaking, reading, listening and writing, recite poetry, explore Arabic calligraphy, cook Mediterranean and Moroccan cuisine, hear stories and learn about celebrations and everyday practices from the Middles East and North Africa, with a focus on Morocco. You will close our sessions with a presentation of celebration of learning in our initiative Intercultural Festival hosted at Emerson Waldorf School and partially sponsored by the Parent Organization of Emerson Waldorf School.
